Some people like to build machines themselves but we can tell you from experience that it is a lot of learning, a lot of work, a lot of broken hardware, a lot of heartache, and a lot of stress that you might do something that causes a fire.
It takes a lot of experience to build a good mining rig and we think we have gone further than anyone else in designing the perfect, efficient, and most importantly, safe, system.
We have surpassed the standard rules in rig builds and built a system that uses the latest custom built mining equipment and reduced the off the shelf PC parts as much as possible.
What we do different.
Custom built Enclosed case

Our cases are all a standard size (185mmx634mmx454mm) and can house up to 8 graphics cards each, so you will know exactly how much space you will need.
They give full protection from any outside pests, splashes and accidental knocks. We have transparent polycarbonate lid to keep an eye on your parts (and also because it looks cool 😉)
All ports are accessible from the back.

All air is exhausted from one end so the heat can be directed rather than dissipated randomly.
Graphics card (GPU)

The biggest cause for failure in a GPU is the overuse of the fan. Fans die over time. Fans for GPU’s are difficult to source, and difficult to replace, so we decided to get rid of the fans altogether. Our enclosed system with extra powerful fans keep the cards cooler with less power consumption. They are fully controllable, and more importantly, easy to replace if one ever did go.
Motherboard

We use special motherboards and CPU’s that were especially created for mining rigs rather than gaming PC’s (like most other builders use). They have inbuilt GPU slots which eliminates the greatest failure part in any mining rig
THE DREADED PCI RISER!

By eliminating this part, the failure rate is dramatically reduced.
The Graphics cards are in a way more stable position, locked into the motherboard. And the time of troubleshooting which graphics card is failing by removing each and every riser one at a time and rebooting each time is reduced by – well, 100%!
It is also a dangerous component as the vast majority on the market use a SATA connection which is limited to a 54W draw when a card could potentially be asking for 75W power, causing a fire risk.
So, plenty of good reasons to say no to the PCI riser!
Power Supply Unit (PSU)

Again, we use specialist PSU’s that were made specifically for mining rigs. We don’t need to waste space by putting 2 or 3 gaming PSU’s inside. We have one huge 2400w PSU which just doesn’t exist for gaming PC’s. It is rated at 90 PLUS PLATINUM, which is the highest possible rating for a PSU, assuring that it will run at 90% minimum capacity. The power is way more than required too….. just in case!!!
Fault? Power cut? No problem If on the rare occasion there is a crash or a power cut, our machines are set to restart automatically and continue mining from where they left off. So you never have to keep monitoring the machines in case anything went wrong. You will also be informed by email if something goes wrong so you don’t have to keep checking the machine. We can also change the settings on the fly from any other computer by using Hive OS.
